RIP Wendell. Sympathy and prayers to the family. He was my "go to" car guy when I needed a car. He was a great guy and will surely be missed.

We were so sorry to hear of Wendell's passing. He was a good person and a very good neighbor to those back when you all lived on Thorn Street.

Teresa, David Sharon and Pat. Bill and I were so sorry to hear about Wendell. Bill said when he saw the obituary that Wendell was a good man. Bought many a car from him. So many memories: living next door to Lowell and Reatha growing up, Bill working for Wendell, babysitting Teresa when she was a baby and Bill picking up David at school, many more. Wish we could be there but you will be in our prayers.

We met Wendell and Pat at boxing....Rock Steady Boxing...fighting against Parkinson’s. He sure could box the heck out of the heavy bag. And he often made fighters , cornerpersons, volunteers and coaches laugh with his great sense of humor. He will be missed.

While Wendell taught me a lot about about buying and selling cars, he also taught me about being a fair business man and set an example of how to get through life right. As anyone that knew him knows, Wendell was a good man, a fun guy, and cared so much about his family. I can only imagine how much y’all miss him.

Mr. Sexton helped me out in a time in my life I really needed help. I didn’t have to ask for it, he just did. He made my car payments to the bank so my car wouldn’t be repossessed and bought land I needed to sell. I would always think about him driving by his old car lot. Rest In Peace.
