Heidi G. Darter, 49, of Conway, went to be with the Lord, Friday, January 15, 2021. She was born October 7, 1971 in Baldwin Park, California to Garry Lynn Garrison and Dianne Caruso Garrison. Heidi was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Morrilton, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Annette Fields and her grandparents.

Survivors are her husband of almost 21 years, Adrian Darter, daughters, Payton, Presley, and Campbell, all of Conway; brothers, Garry (Amber) Garrison of Lamar, Arkansas; Glenn (Leslie) Garrison of Port Orange, Florida; 3 nieces and 6 nephews.

Heidi graduated from the University of the Ozarks with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. She was on the Lamar High School Basketball Team which won the 1987 State Championship. She enjoyed teaching, swimming, hiking, gaming and cheering for her kids at sporting events. Heidi was also an avid reader. She loved flying with her brother Garry and fishing with her brother, Glenn.

Memorial Mass will be held Thursday, January 21, 2021 2:00pm at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Morrilton, Arkansas. Burial at Lamar Cemetery will be at a later date.

Heidi and I started our teaching journey together and started teaching at the same campus. We kept in touch over the years and she always offered a safe and encouraging space to be myself. I am truly thankful to have had her friendship. My condolences to her family. She will truly be missed.

I was very sad to hear the news of Heidi's passing. I hadn't seen her in years and years, but from my days in Arkansas, I remember her sweet and quiet disposition and her beautiful smile.
