of Heber Springs, AR
June 27, 1954 - January 14, 2021
Wencie Carroll, 66, of Heber Springs, Arkansas was born June 27, 1954 to the late Buell and Glenna (Teague) Treece in Clinton, Arkansas. She went to her heavenly home on January 14, 2021.
She is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Melvin Carroll; brothers J.W. ''Dub'' Treece and his wife Charlene, Billy ''Tige'' Treece; infant siblings, Veldon Leon Treece and Patricia Ann Treece; and brother-in-law, Don Love.
Wencie was of the Baptist faith. Family was everything to her, especially her nieces and nephews that she helped raise, watched, and bossed around. She had a love for music, flowers, and eating out. Wencie loved to gather around the piano at her relatives' homes and sing gospel songs. She grew up in the 70's. She spent weekends at her sisters homes sharing stories, talking to the kids and listening to music with friends and family. She especially loved to listen to the music of Elvis, pop, and gospel. Wencie loved writing letters thanking people in her life for the little things: a gift, a dinner, or maybe just a visit to say "Hi and I love you." She will be missed by all who knew her.
Left to cherish her memory are her siblings Virginia (Charles) Higgins, Wendell (Diane) Treece, Monna Love, Lonnie ''Buck'' (Frankie) Treece, Lou (Dusty) Dewberry, Linda Treece, and sister-in-law, Charlene Treece along with a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and family.
Private family funeral services will be at Shady Grove Baptist Church at 10:00 a.m., Monday, January 18, 2021. Interment will follow at Shady Grove Cemetery where the public is welcome to attend.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Shady Grove Cemetery Fund, 11781 Hwy 110, Shirley, Arkansas 72153.

Aunt Wencie was so sweet and always prayed for everyone. I loved her from the first time I met her. I use to take her to my house for the weekend sometimes and we would watch movies and eat popcorn. Aunt Wencie always had to have her hot chocolate. She was so giving and always had a gift for you every time you saw her. I love to take her out to eat and on my lunch break at Stonebridge I use to take her tio lunch with me. I will miss her smile and her funny stories.
