Words can not describe how I felt to be a part of Donnie’s life. I was close to him, he made me feel wanted and loved as if I was one of his own grandchildren. Donnie is family, he taught me many things and shared lots of wisdom with me! I enjoyed the many years I would have sleepovers with Grandma JJ and Papa Donnie when I was younger. I especially loved the animals, cats, dogs, deer, birds, horses; he made sure to feed all the animals! Donnie was kind-hearted! Donnie is in heaven with everyone I will see soon!

Donnie was a great friend who provided me a place to stay when needed and warm friendship. I had not seen Donnie for a few years but heard he was doing well. I was not from Searcy County but Donnie showed me all the beautiful places and introduced me to the many good people of Searcy County. Donnie added good to the world and deserves a heavenly reward for all the things he has done to help people including me. Rest In Peace Good Friend.

I am heartbroken to hear that Donnie passed away . He and my husband Joe Dale Ross were very good friends, they were childhood friends, talked often on the phone and he and JJ would come visit us when they came to California. After Joe passed away Donnie would call to see if I was ok. When he lived in California he helped Joe get hired at Federal Pacific Electric where Donnie worked. I will miss him very much he was a great friend to us. My sympathy to all the family. Love you J J .

Sad to hear of Donnie passing from this life but glad to know he’s moved on to a better home. I always enjoyed working with him at UPS and remembering his desire to help any and everyone with stops or directions. He seemed to always have an upbeat and positive attitude that was contagious. I know the family will miss him but it’s my hope that all will see him someday, this is the faith we have.
