Lonnie Edward Allen, 71, of Conway, went to be with the Lord, January 12, 2021. He was born June 23, 1949 in Marshall, Arkansas to the late William and Geneva Allen. Lonnie served in the U.S. Army for six years and the National Guard for twelve. He retired after 34 years from Rock Tenn in Conway, AR. Lonnie was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He liked to golf and loved to play the drums.
Lonnie is survived by his wife of 50 years, Juana Allen, sons, James and Chris Allen, daughter, Maria Allen Shirey, grandchildren, Greg Shirey, Sara Allen, Jason Allen, Amy Allen and Robert Allen, and a host of family and friends.
Visitation will be Friday, January 15, 2021 from 4:00-8:00PM with family present from 6:00-8:00PM at Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Conway.
A Graveside Service will begin at 11:00AM Saturday, January 16, 2021 at Crestlawn Memorial Park.

I am so sorry for your loss...Lonnie will be missed by us all. I am so glad I got to see him at Wal-Mart during the holidays ( shopping). We almost had a collision with our carts (smiling). My deepest sympathy is with you all during this time...and you are in my prayers.

I am so sorry to hear of his passing. I enjoyed working with him for many years and would still see him around Conway once in a while. He was always friendly and never failed to say hello.

Lonnie has been one of my best friends for many years. We worked together at Rock-Tenn for about 37 years and played Rock and Roll music together for 34 years. I will miss him we had many good times together. My thoughts and prayers go out to his wife Juana and his children and grandchildren.
As a retired Rock Tenn employee, my wife and I send our thoughts and prayers to all of you in this time of grief. May God bless you each day until you are reunited with your loved one.
