I just saw that Mr Sam has gone on to better things and selfishly I'm saddened. In a world so filled with the cold, aimlessly busy and boisterous or just plain mean, Mr Sam was a reminder of where we come from and who made us .... he was a good man. Waitressing reinforced something I read somewhere: you can tell a lot about a man by how he treats someone who can never do anything for him (I'm sure I butchered what I was trying to quote, but anyway... Lol) i.e. wait staff, janitor, etc. and Mr Sam was always ALWAYS kind and respectful to me. He befriended me and that's not the easiest thing to do. Lol I'm thankful for the time his light shine in my life and will keep you all in my prayers tonight.

Love and prayers to Shirley and Wayne and family. Wonderful memories of all the fun times we spent together. Sam had a way about him that made people smile. He never seemed to meet a stranger wherever he was. We will miss his smile and good conversation. May he be at peace now
