Saying good-bye to a life long friend is hard but seeing her struggle and suffer was harder. Of all the adventures we had here in Earth the Grandest adventure will be when we can reunite in Heaven. Joy has gone ahead so she can warn our friends that her partner in crime will someday join her there and start our adventures anew. Rest In Peace and Love my friend, until we meet again!
I know that you and MR have already started planning something special.

It is with deep regret that I am aware of the passing of this fine lady I had the privilege of knowing and befriending through our days at Bethel Methodist Church. Went to school at Sylvan Hills High with Joy and even though I was 4 years behind her in age, I knew her and the entire Jones family through my time at Bethel. She was a fun-loving person and always greeted you with an infectious smile. She was an inspiration to all of us youngsters growing up in the MYF group at the church and served the church with her continuing love for Christ. She will be missed, family, but what a great impression she made on us all! Farewell, Joy. See you in Heaven! Rest in Peace.
