I remember all of the wonderful things my friend (Carole) said about you thru the years. You were an awesome husband and father! I smile knowing you and my friend are together again!!
You will be greatly missed! I always loved spending time with you and my mom in Texas. I was able to live the retirement lifestyle for a few days at a time, long leisurely mornings, drinking coffee and reading the papers. You always had your Frappucinos. Your love of sugar was something to be seen.
You faced Parkinson's head on and continued with a positive attitude. I will be toasting you with a glass of Chardonnay at 5:00pm, wine time.
I will remember Joe as a wonderful man who always brought a smile to my face. He will be missed. My heart goes out to his family and friends.
Joe, I am so glad I got to talk to you one last time. We had a great conversation and reminisced over old times. Working at Reynolds in the Chemical Div. and you as my boss will be times I will never forget. You had such trust in me and always looked after my best interest. We had such a good time along with our sales staff! Joe, I never laughed so much with you. You will always have a place in my heart and be at peace nowðŸ™ðŸ»Love & Blessings Gwen Butler
I worked for Joe several summers when he was at the Hurricane Creek plant in Bauxite. He was a valued mentor and a good friend. I sent him a note when Carole died -- and when I learned that he had children in Fayetteville -- but never heard back from him. I will always remember how he treated me as a regular member of the team, although I was clearly a "temp."
I have most of my great memories because of Joe.
