of Sherwood, AR
October 31, 1932 - January 7, 2021
Jane Lillian Jackson, 88, of Sherwood, passed away on Thursday, January, 7, 2021. She was born on October 31, 1932 in Russellville, Arkansas, to the late Percil Leon and Ida May Morris.
Jane was an active member of First NLR Assembly Church and loved her church family. She dedicated her time and love solely to her family. She was a great seamstress who always enjoyed making dresses for her girls as they were growing up. Jane loved dressing up in her jewelry, always adding to her collection. She devoted the rest of her time to loving and caring for her grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughters, Sharon Elaine Dickson (Fred) and Laveta Lynn Tibbett (Don); grandchildren, Lori Lemley (Andrew), Luke Tibbett, and Jenni Kellar (John); great-grandchildren, Aidan and Isaac Lemley; Hayden, Jakob, and Laci Kellar; and great-great grandchildren, Mariyah and Jada.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Earnest Lynn Jackson; and daughter, Jana Louise Jackson.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 12, at 11:00 A.M. at First NLR Assembly of God Church in North Little Rock. A visitation will be held one-hour prior to services. A graveside service will follow at Rankin Cemetery in Russellville.
Due to COVID restrictions, all attendees are required to provide and wear their own masks.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Project Rescue for First NLR in Jane's honor.
My deepest sympathies to Shae, Laveta and all the extended family. Jane was such a loving spirit in so many lives. I am thankful and blessed to have known her. She will be missed by many.
Jane was a good friend for many years. I remember a trip to War Eagle for the craft fair; a camping trip to east Arkansas and lots and lots of archery tournaments. She made this world a better place. My condolences to the family.
So much fun and friendship we had with Jane and Earnest. Traveling over the state with our camper trailers and finding things to do. Mostly eating and fishing with a round of golf thrown in. Farewell our dear friend. We pray that the family finds comfort and peace as Jane's struggles are now over and she is reached her home in Heaven with Earnest. Much Love to all.
Jane was such a kind spirit. And had a fine sense of humor. We will mourn her passing but rejoice in her destination.
