The Over the Hill gang.
So many fond memories of growing up and having your family as our next door neighbors. They were such great times. Your mom was a very special lady and so kind to everyone. My deepest sympathy to your entire families.

To Chris, Gary, my old buddy Terry and Gina (and all of Millie's Grand & Greatgrandchildren;
I can still remember the day when your mom told me that you were all moving from Union Street up to Lake George as one of my saddest days. I was absolutely stunned and couldn't imagine anything like that as even being possible.
No longer would I be able to hide out among those warm and cozy knotty pine walled rooms and try to find Gary's amazing Comic book collection, and melt into a corner with Batman and Robin.
And on those days when my mom was stuck at work, I would no longer get to enjoy your mom's incredible pancakes; as she always made a point to check in on my sister. Lynn, and I, to make sure we were safe and warm and well nourished (as if she didn't already have enough hungry mouths to feed).
Until we drove up to Lake George, a few months later, and saw that amazing view from the house up on the hill overlooking Lake George, did I finally understand the what's and why's of the Thomas Migration.
Your mom was always a happy person, and I can still clearly remember her laugh. When I saw her that day she seemed at peace and happier than ever; and that experience opened for me a new world filled with a natural beauty, and possibilities that extended far beyond the confines of our little neighborhood in Hudson Falls.
My family absolutely LOVED your mom and I know that Lynn and I will never forget her.
My love to you all;

Dear Gina, Terry, Gary and Chris,
I am so very sorry about your mom. She was warm and giving and fun and I loved her very much. She and your family did so much to make my mom, my brother and I felt welcomed and loved when we moved to Hudson Falls. I remember my mom saying that, even when she was at work, she felt that we were safe and watched over because of your mom. You were all a big part of our lives - such wonderful memories. I wish you peace in this time of sadness.
With much love,
Lynn
