We are so sorry to hear about Maudie. I tried to attend the services at the cemetery, but my map app didn’t take me to the right place. I drove around, but couldn’t find where I needed to be. Would love to hear from you.

Maudie holds a special place in my heart. Growing up out in Sylvania, she was truly a second mom to us Sikes kids. Living so close to our church and the community building, we would often just pop over to their house after services or a 4-H meeting, where we were welcomed as her own rather than shooed out with a broom as we probably deserved.

A loving, giving person for her family and her community. My heart goes out to Jeremy, Jason and the rest of the Robertson family during this time. Maudie will continue to live on in those that knew her.

Larry, Jason, and Jeremy, I am so sorry to hear about Maudie. She was an awesome and sweet lady, a great friend, and I know she was a wonderful and loving mother and wife. I know she will be missed. Mine and Carol's prayers go out to all of y'all and your family. We sure have missed y'all since we all have left Cabot and gone our separate ways. It's sad that we have not stayed in touch. Again, I am so sorry. I pray God will lift y'all up.

Maudie was my 'other mother,' as I was great friends with both Jason and Jeremy growing up. She always made us feel welcome in their home.

During my freshman year of high school, I spent most of my lunches in the agriculture office. While Maudie was attending UALR, she often brought lunch from somewhere along her way back to the office.

She was able to balance so many things in life and I always admired that she was able to manage her time and get her degree.

While she will be missed in this world, her impact on the people who were fortunate enough to know her will endure. Our lives are richer for having known Maudie.

My heart goes out to Larry, Jeremy, Jason and the rest of their family as you remember Maudie. We love you all.
