Brother Lewis and Family.........LaDonna was one of those classmates that made a lasting impression on my life. She was always warm, engaging, sincere, and easily opened the door into her world. I have not seen her since 1976, but have thought of her often, led to pray for her and her family, and have memories that make me smile. I am hurt to know that she has left us, but blessed to know she is with the Lord for eternity. May Comforter bless each of you with His presence.......

We are both so glad to have had the chance to visit with you all this past weekend to see LaDohnna before her passing. I will always cherish our memories of all our adventures and fun times growing up together as cousins. Even as life spread us farther apart I always felt close to LaDohnna and her brother Clarence because I considered them the sister and brother I never had. I could always discuss any of my issues with either one and always get a caring ear and an honest answer or opinion. We are deeply saddened that this has happened to her, you and your family. I am a true believer in that over the horizon is a new day and we will never fully understand Gods reason for what happens in the past or present. May our precious memories and the comfort of her being in heaven bring us all healing. Thinking of and praying for you and family daily. She will be missed but not forgotten by many.

I am so saddened by the death of LaDohnna. She was such a special person. I think of her always having a sweet smile as well as a loving and caring attitude toward her family, her friends, and her students. She was always working to do the best she could for them and to reach them in interesting ways. While I think of her sweet personality, I also think there were times she had a mischievous side - but always in good taste and in fun. I was honored and blessed to know and work with her. I was also blessed to have Nichole, Amy and Laura as their counselor, and they were all very special students. I know that LaDohnna was a great Mother, and I am sure that she was a special grandmother as well. It is always hard to understand why sad things happen to such special people, but my prayer is that the faith that all have will help them through and that the wonderful memories will support them in the days and years to come. My prayers will continue for John, Nichole, Amy, Laura and all the rest of the family.

LaDohnna and I started first grade together at Southside in 1962. She was so sweet and loved by everyone. Our classes were very small and we all knew one another really well. We were in the same class until we finished fifth grade and I moved to Dardanelle. Our paths crossed again briefly at the Free Will Baptist State Associations or at WNAC meetings. She was the same sweet girl I had known in first grade. I'm so sorry for your loss, but we know she is at peace and enjoying the splendor of Heaven. One day we'll have a wonderful reunion up there. We have lots of catching up to do! May the Lord give your hearts peace and comfort you as only He can.~~~With Love, Denise Martin Taylor

Hoover, John, Nicole, Amy & Laura, my heart breaks at the sorrow you must feel at the loss of La Dohnna. She was always so special to us and we always enjoyed being with her. She was always a happy and upbeat person and always had a smile on her face. I am so sorry that Ken and Karen did not make it in time to get to visit with her. It broke their hearts. God is in control of everything in our lives and only He knows everyone's future. I am so glad that at least she called me and I got to talk to her. We will always miss her but she is in the best place now and enjoying a reunion with Jesus and her family that preceded her. I will continue to pray for all of you. May God be with you and comfort you and give you peace and strength. I love each of you and you will be on my mind.

I am so sadden by the passing of LaDohnna. When we last talked we were planning to see each other this spring. We were very good friends in high school. Her grandmother sewed many dresses for me and we spent many hours playing ping pong. I will cherish her memory and all the wonderful times we had together. I'm praying for God to help you through this difficult time.

John, I don't know if you remember me or not from South Highland Free Will Baptist Church, in Muscle Shoals, but I wanted you to know how very sorry I am to hear of LaDohnna's passing. I will always remember her kindness toward me when I first started at SHFWB, and she is the reason I have been a Sunday school teacher for all these years since she was here. She had asked me to be her helper in her class, and when y'all moved, I took her class and have been teaching ever since. I will keep your special family in my prayers.

John, Nichole, Amy, Laura & Hoover:
I do not have words to tell you how much I thought of LaDohnna. We shared so many good times when we were in school, went so many places. She even went on vacations with my family. I went to church camp with her. She was a very dear and close friend. I loved her as a sister. I didn't ever have a sister, so she was my "sister." I will miss her so much. We could talk for days!

Love to you all and prayers for comfort, peace and strength for the times ahead.
