Charlotte Dianne Purvis, 60, of Helena, Arkansas passed away Thursday, December 31, 2020. She was born June 11, 1960 in Helena, Arkansas to Charles H. Purvis and the late Releta Ruth Proctor.
She was a hard worker and had a heart of gold. To her there were no strangers... she loved everyone and would give the shirt off her back to anyone. Charlotte also attended Church of God of Prophecy in West Helena, Arkansas.
She is survived by son, Ronald Leo Grasse, Jr. of Albuquerque, New Mexico; daughter, Cassandra Masemore and husband, Ben Masemore of Barto, Pennsylvania; father, Charles "Git" Purvis; seven grandchildren, Jesse Wooten, Fiona Wooten, Aubrie Masemore, Kaylie Masemore, Isaiah Masemore, Ava Masemore and Tristan Grasse; four brothers, Hershal Purvis of Alabama; Charles A. Purvis, James Purvis and Danny Purvis, all of Helena, Arkansas; sister, Barbara Purvis of Helena, Arkansas; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Releta Ruth Proctor and sister, Wanda "Tiny" Purvis.
A graveside service for Charlotte Dianne Purvis will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 8, 2021 at Maple Hill Cemetery in Helena, Arkansas. Visitation will be held prior to the service beginning at 1:00 p.m. at Roller-Citizens chapel. Brother Adam Rowland will officiate.
Services will be directed by Roller-Citizens Funeral Home, West Helena, (870) 572-2571. Relatives and friends may sign the online guestbook at www.rollerfuneralhomes.com/westhelena.

To those who knew her well, she was Diane. I never saw her when she wasn't smiling. She was such a loving, kind-hearted lady. She fed all the stray cats in her neighborhood, and all the birds. She was generous, and would spend her money for anything she thought you needed. She was taken from those of us who loved her way too soon. Though her friends and family will miss her terribly, she is now with someone who loved her more than us, our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I take great comfort in knowing this.
