Wayne was born October 30, 1955, in Little Rock, AR. He was the son of Quentin Brown and Erlene Brown, of Huntsville, AR, who both preceded him in death.
Wayne was a Jack of all trades, who proudly served his country in the military and later served his community, both as a deputy of the Shiloh Springs Police Department and as an EMT in Huntsville, AR. Wayne's life experiences also included being a Pro Bass Fisherman for Champion Boats and a Division I referee and umpire, calling many games for the Arkansas Razorbacks, Wayne retired from the Ball Corporation in Springdale, AR and moved to Mountain View, AR, where he met the love of his life Robin Throckmorton, who he married on November 24, 2000. It was shortly after this union that he also became a business owner-operating both a grocery store and guiding fishing trips in Greers Ferry, AR. Wayne's most recent employment was as a salesman, in the building industry, working at TD Home Center, in Mountain View.
Wayne was the father to two sons, Adam Brown, of Mountain View, and Aaron Throckmorton (deceased), proving him to be both a devoted husband and father, who loved his family dearly.
Wayne is survived by his wife, Robin Brown, his son, Adam Brown, both of Mountain View, and one sister, Donna Samples, of Huntsville, AR, as well as many extended family and friends. He was a member of Arbanna Baptist Church in Mountain View.
Funeral services are Wednesday, January 6, at Arbanna Baptist Church at 12 p.m., with burial following at Velvet Ridge Cemetery in Velvet Ridge, AR, with Brothers Jim Chandler and Glen Swafford officiating. Honorary pallbearers are Tom Adams and Gus Spickes, both of Mountain View, Stan Yellington and Mike Calico, both of Huntsville, AR, Leland Nixon, of Greenbrier, AR, Tim Doerner, of San Bernadino, CA.

I’m so very sorry to hear of Wayne’s passing. He was a good person and always very nice to all of us that went to school with him. He was witty and always had a good joke to tell. I have not seen him in many years, but I do remember the last time was at a football game at Huntsville and he was a very proud papa of a new born baby boy. He was so proud and happy and I was happy for him. God please take care and bless all of his family. He would have wanted it to be like that. Love you guys, Delano and Kim Hatfield Bell.
