Walter Richard Biegaj, 72, of Searcy, Arkansas passed away on December 30, 2020 in Little Rock, Arkansas. Walley was born on January 27, 1948 in Chicago, Illinois to Theodore Richard and Adealine Sepich Biegaj. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister. He was a member of Foothills Church of Christ in Searcy.

He is survived by his wife, Lula Mae Honey Biegaj of Searcy; one son, Steven (Becky) Brockwell of Beebe; two daughters, Sandra (Mike) Jones of Tuckerman and Tammie (Darrin) Moye; 10 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren along with a host of other family and friends.

Walter retired with 31 years of service to the United States in the Army. He served during The Gulf War where he was active in Operation Desert Storm and later served in Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom. He was stationed at Camp Robinson in North Little Rock, Arkansas for a period of time as well as other stations throughout the United States.

Since his retirement Wally found many new interests with one being that he has enjoyed spending time with his family and working around their homeplace. He enjoyed working outside in the garden and making flower beds to enjoy looking at the beautiful colors. He loved music of many kinds and was known to write songs and loved to play the guitar. He enjoyed his music room that he had sat up in their home and spent many hours in there with his family and friends as well as by himself. He enjoyed visiting with their friends both in person and on Face Book where he met many new people. Wally and Lula enjoyed attending to church and was very confident in his faith.

Funeral Services are set for Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at Roller-Daniel Funeral Home Chapel with visitation at 1:00 PM and the service to follow at 2:00 PM. Interment with Military Honors to follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Searcy.

CDC COVID-19 guidelines will be followed including face coverings and social distancing.
