Hubert Elihue Rook, 96 of West Memphis, Arkansas, passed from this life and into his Savior's arms on December 28, 2020.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a host of brothers, sisters and extended family.
Those left to cherish his memory are his two grandchildren, Byron Holloway (Becky) and Leslie Barnes (Carl). He had 5 great grand-children, Taylor Holloway, Charlsie Barnes, Lauren Holloway, Madison Barnes, and Braedon Barnes.
He was born on September 25, 1924. He was a World War II veteran. He was very devout in his faith and belief in Jesus Christ, and attended Calvary Baptist Church.
Hubert was a family man, a great role model, and left a legacy that will never be forgotten.
He was the co-owner of Hudson Rook Olds-GMC, Inc.
Roller-Citizens Funeral Home will be following guidelines issued by the local Department of Health and the CDC regarding COVID-19. Social distancing of at least six feet is recommended for outdoor services and all funeral attendees are requested to wear masks.

Mr. Rook was the kindest, most gentle, loving person I have ever met. He lit up a room when he entered. His upbeat personality was infectious. I am so honored to have had the privilege of being his family. The thought of he and Genelle being back together makes me so happy. We love you!

I met Hubert in 1975..he gave me my first sales job . I have many wonderful memories but the one that comes to mind often is how he loved to sing. I played for him many times when he did specials at his Church..l will miss my friend..
