Becky and family,
It seems so strange not to be able to get together as a family and grieve the loss of Eric. The pandemic has changed everything so much.
I can remember the night Uncle Ernie called to tell us he had been born, the first great grandchild in the family. Pappy wanted to see him so the two of us rode up there to Marion. I remember how in love you were with your newborn son.
Eric was always a sweet kid. I love all your kids, but he always had my heart.
From reading the comments here it’s apparent that he has touched lives and will be remembered with love.
Just know that even though we’re not there we are thinking about and praying for y’all every day.

Because of Eric, Sara was able to meet Jessica and Brad and others before the start of school in Marion. Wonderful friendships were formed because Eric took the time to help all of us feel welcome. I am still in shock from Jessica's call. My heart breaks for you. I had talked to Eric a couple of weeks ago and can't believe that was the last time I will hear his voice. I have so many memories of him. He was like the brother I didn't have. We went to school together since 1st grade, Sunday school, youth group. I remember him coming out to the house and getting me and we would go fishing. He had such a good heart, he would gladly help anyone that needed it.
