Roxie Loretta Galbreath, 87, of Simsboro, Louisiana, passed away, Friday, January 1, 2021.
She was born May 3, 1933, in Egypt, Arkansas, to James Ed and Kathleen Loretta (Smith) Combs. Roxie married Robert Galbreath on April 11, 1951, and had been married for sixty-nine years. She enjoyed fishing, taking long drives, and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, six brothers, and two sisters.
Survivors include her husband; son, Robert E. Galbreath and spouse, Debora, of Louisiana; nephew, Jimmy Jean Waldrupt of Imboden; grandchildren, Bryan Galbreath, Shanna Mooney and her spouse, Tonja Galbreath, and Jamie Galbreath; nine great grandchildren; and sixteen great-great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 6, 2021, at Markham Cemetery in Egypt with burial following.
Pallbearers will be family friends, Doug Parsons, Bill Parsons, and Chris Hanson; nephew, Jimmy Waldrupt; and great grandsons, Jonathan Williams and Jacob Trowbridge. Great grandson, Craig Williams, will be an honorary pallbearer.
Visitation will be held Tuesday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home, 1900 West Washington Ave Jonesboro, Arkansas. Mrs. Galbreath will be lying in repose prior to visitation from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. for those wishing to pay their respects and sign the guestbook. No family will be present at this time.
We are complying with the Arkansas Department of Health guidelines and limiting indoor funeral and visitation attendance while observing social distancing guidelines. All attendees must provide and wear their own masks before entering.
