Peggy Mullally Jenkins, 97, of Helena, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, December 31, 2020 at Crestpark in Helena. She was born March 24, 1923, in Trenton, Arkansas, the oldest of seven children, to Will and Elizabeth Murphy Mullally.
On December 27, 1944, she was married to her high school sweetheart, A. B. Jenkins, Jr and they made their home in Helena, Arkansas. They owned and operated Mabie Furniture Company for over thirty years and were members of First Baptist Church of Helena.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a daughter, Donna Klimek; a sister, Birdie Turner; and three of her brothers, Earvin Mullally, Earl Mullally, and Billy Mullally.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her daughter, Pat Harrison (Jim) of West Helena; her son Bob Jenkins of Helena; three grandchildren, Scott Harrison (Heather) of pilot Point, TX; Rebekah Kendrick (Rob) of West Helena; Lindsay Jones (Jason) of Tunica, MS: a son-in-law David Klimek of Tunica, MS; .twelve great grandchildren; a sister, Lillian Hollowell, of West Helena; a brother John Mullally, of Spartanburg, SC; and a host of very special nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery January 5, 2021. Her grandson, Scott Harrison will officiate. Visitation will be from 5:00 -7:00 p.m. Monday January 4,2021 at Roller-Citizens Chapel.
Serving as bearers are Rob Kendrick, Nate Kendrick. Jason Jones, Michael Mullally, Freddy Gray and Joe Murphy.
Honorary Bearers are Jim Harrison, Dan Johnson, and Billy Baker.
Roller- Citizens Funeral Home is observing guideline regarding COVID-19. We ask that all attendees please observe social distancing. When indoors or when social distancing cannot be observed, please wear a mask.
