She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 53 years, Jim L. Black; her brothers, Edmond Smirl and Steve Smirl, and one sister, Norma Nash.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at 2:00pm at the Roller-Crouch Chapel in Batesville with Steve Spurlin officiating. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery.

Cheryl and Christi,
I am so sad to learn if your mom's passing. She was a wonderful example of pastor's wife. Her quiet personality and loyal friendship with my mom were things I admired. Prayers for you and your families in the coming days.
