Mr. Christopher Thomas, age 46, of Gassville, Arkansas, passed away on Monday, December 28, 2020. He was born in Placerville, California on February 17, 1974.
Christopher is survived by his loving Fiancé, Crystal Boyce; Father, Raymond ''Scooter'' Thomas; one son, David Ertel; four daughters, Christen Marie Thomas, Auxonana Demrick, Margaret (Dustin Kingerey) Long, Virginia (Tristan Pearson) Long; four brothers, Brian (Kelli) Thomas, Brad (Amy) Thomas, Sheldon (Megan) Irons, Sean (Teresa) Nash; one sister, Vikki (Eric) Sutherland; one granddaughter, Rylie Jo Aspen Kingerey, and more to come; and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Janet Thomas, and grandparents, James David and Betty Thomas.
Christopher proudly served his country, four years in the Army and seventeen years in the Army National Guard as a Sgt. He worked for twenty-two years as Cpl. at Arkansas Department of Corrections, where he was loved by his coworkers and even the inmates; He loved his career as a Correctional Officer.
His family was the most important thing in his life, and he was deeply loved by them all. He loved playing video games, fishing, smoking meat, and making improvements on his family's home. One of his favorite things to do was gather with his family on holidays. Any time spent with his family was time well spent in his eyes.

Christopher James-Michael Thomas, my son I never ceased loving him, at every opportunity I let him know how much I loved him even to the very last moment. Chris wasy cousin and I hadn't seen him since we were kids, but he was a great kid. We all had lots of fun when he would come for a visit after he got to know us. He will for sure be missed
