Carolyn was my dad's girlfriend/best friend for many years and I suppose a surrogate mother to me.
I spent many years as a young child at her coture dress shop on Union Avenue .
The shop was called Caroline's coture.
It was quite fancy. She was wonderful to me, and I'll never forget her.
What a great lady! So sorry to hear that she is gone.

Poopsie, I will never forget the love you shown me. From age 5, even though I wasn't blood, you took me in as your grandchild and always included me. I will keep the many memories including playing dress-up in your dress shop, forever. You will be missed but I know you are now at peace. Give Gran-Gran and Paw-Paw a hug for me.
