Mary ''Liz'' Scarbrough, 87, of Hot Springs passed away December 25, 2020.
She was born December 11, 1933 in Elgin, Arkansas to James H. and Alpha (Brixie) Biggers.
Survivors include one son, Jimmy Scarbrough (Diane) of Charlotte; one daughter, Joann Scarbrough Davidson (Jamie) of Hot Springs; one sister, Louella Leslie of Hot Springs; two grandchildren, Justin Lynn Scarbrough (Katie) of Manana, Bahrain and Misty Dawn Colvey (Josh) of Jonesboro; two step-grandchildren, Chris Davidson (Cory) of Bentonville and Cord Davidson (Dana) of Batesville; two great-granddaughters, Adelynn Michelle Scarbrough and Mackenzie Rena Scarbrough; two step-great-grandsons, Grady Yates and Archer Benjamin Davidson; three step-great-granddaughters, Tori Davidson, Josie Davidson, and Chloe Davidson, and many nieces and nephews.
Mary is preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Judy Ann Scarbrough; three brothers, Walter, Richard Sylvester, and James Biggers Jr.; one sister, Ruth Biggers, and two half-brothers, Johnny Biggers and William Greathouse.
Pallbearers are Doug Garth, Steve Hampton, Josh Colvey, James Milum, Gary Hodge, and Paul Duncan. Honorary pallbearers are her nieces and nephews, her favorite nurse, Dee Robinson, Chris Davidson, Grady Davidson, Archer Davidson, and Cord Davidson.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 2, 2021 at 10:00am at the Roller-Crouch Chapel in Batesville with Bill Allen officiating. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery.
Visitations will be one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of your choice.
We are complying with the Arkansas Department of Health guidelines and limiting indoor funeral and visitation attendance to 50 people at one time. All attendees must provide and wear their own masks before entering and social distancing will be observed.
JoAnn & family, I just realized you lost your mom during these holidays. I'm so very sorry for your loss & will be praying for strength & comfort for you during this difficult time ahead!

I want to extend my deepest sympathy for her family, friends and our family. Aunt Liz was a special part of my earlier life and I am thankful for that. My father always loved his siblings and now they are together once again. Prayers for her and those that had the blessing of getting to know her. Rest in pease aunt Liz.

On behalf of our family, I would like to extend our deepest condolences for the loss of Liz. Our connection with this wonderful woman was through Richard Sylvester Biggers, Sr., my step-father. We enjoyed our visits and my mother, Margaret, truly will miss her. May God comfort you and keep you in his arms.
