Louanna ''Jenina'' (Farris) Henderson of Mountain View, AR passed away December 24, 2020 at Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home, AR. Jenina was born May 25, 1937 to Ulis Farris and Flossie (Martin) Farris in Timbo, AR. Jenina was a wife to Doc for 60 years and a great mother to her four sons. She loved spending time with her five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Jenina was a homemaker who could always be found in the kitchen. She loved gospel music, trips to Branson, and watching Jimmy Swaggart. We will miss her infectious laugh, giving heart, and her ability to seek out sweets. Jenina was quick to lend an ear to those in need or just to chat. She was a member of the First Assembly of God church in Mountain View for over 40 years and was always faithful and dedicated to the dome church.

Jenina is survived by her four sons, Tim (Jami) Henderson, Mountain Home, AR, Gary (Donata) Henderson, Louisburg, KS, Kevin (Dana) Henderson, Mountain Home, AR, Scott (Michelle) Henderson, Overland Park, KS; as well as five grandchildren, Jessica (Lane Town), Cheyenne, Austin, Delaney & Easton all of Louisburg, KS and two great grandchildren, Liam & Layton; Brother Fay (Bud) Farris, a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband Ernest '' Doc'' Henderson, her parents, Ulis Farris and Flossie (Martin) Farris, two brothers, Lonnie Farris, Conward Farris, and one sister Mae (Farris) Wallace. Visitation will take place on Monday, December 28, 2020, from 12:00-2:00 PM at First Assembly of God Church (Dome) in Mountain View, Arkansas. Aunt Jenina was loving, generous, and joyful person. She gave up her bed for me and Ed when we came to Arkansas for a visit. She was only 10+ years older than me and I have lots of memories of fun times with her. May God give you- her family- peace of mind knowing that she is walking in Heaven with our family that has gone before us. Love you all!!

My thoughts and prayers are with the family. She was a sweet, sweet lady. We so enjoyed Jenina and Doc on visits. When I was 15, we were in Timbo for a vacation. They were getting married shortly after that. My Mother was Berry Farris’ daughter.
