Ann Mains Wilsey, 87, passed away on December 21, 2020. Born on April 14, 1933, in Rochester, NY. She earned a bachelor's degree from Saint Lawrence University. She worked as a schoolteacher in Warrensburg, NY, and retired as a substitute teacher at Heber Springs High School. In her early career, she worked part-time for Sears and Roebuck teaching sewing and knitting classes. She was an active member of St. Albert Catholic Church in Heber Springs, AR, serving in many roles including Director of Religious Education, religion teacher, and Eucharistic Minister. Ann valued knowledge and education. She enjoyed reading and had a large collection of books.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Marcus and Helen Mains; husband of 54 years, Harold Wilsey; and her son, James Wilsey.

She is survived by her sister, Marcia Trask, and her family; children: Michael Wilsey (Nancy) of Palm City, FL; Ellen Harwell (Rick) of Bryant; Brian Wilsey (Anna) of Ames, IA; David Wilsey (Biljana) of Cary, NC; and Linda Clark (Douglas) of Benton; as well as daughter-in-law Suzanne Wilsey of Hot Springs; 16 grandchildren: Jessica Wilsey-Ulgen (Erhan) of Ankara, Turkey; Nicholas Wilsey of Kansas City, MO; Benjamin Wilsey (Alexis) of Wichita, KS; Jacqueline Pederson (Justin) of Shawnee, KS; Patrick Wilsey (Delin) of Hot Springs; Cara Wilsey (Matt) of Hot Springs; Kristine Hammonds (Aaron) of Brookland; Scott Harwell (Cammy) of Bryant; Eric Harwell of Brookland; Luke Harwell (Heather) of Bryant; Maya Wilsey of Ames, IA; Dana, Tessa and Nora Wilsey of Cary, NC; Andrew and Ryan Clark of Benton; and 20 great-grandchildren.

Arrangements are being handled by Roller-Alcoa Funeral Home. There are no services planned at this time. Interment of ashes will be at St. Albert Catholic Church in Heber Springs. A celebration of life is currently planned for the summer of 2021.
