Oh I just today learned that Park was no longer here. He lived just down the street and he was always at our house to get help or build something with my dad. They reconnected in later years when dad got into RC planes! We all loved him and his parents too!!! He was a great one of a kind!

I have fond memories of taking art classes from Park in the early 1980s at the Arkansas Arts Center and playing in a great treehouse he built. Super skilled and generous guy.

Park Ry Fleming, my father.

He was a man with 2 hands that could build anything his creative mind thought of a whole group of people couldn’t do,
Walking back into his house brings back so many memories over the years. From going to fields to fly the rc jets and planes he newley acquired. It was like walking threw a toy store every time I came down. He was never shy showing me how he built it, how it works and would always let me give it a try, as long as I didn’t crash it. It was like Christmas every time I went down as-well as when I got back two my second home because he always sent me something back home to remind me of the trip.
Some of the best memories I have are not just staying at dads house and all the toys , but when me dad and Kathy all got together with the whole fleming family. You all have been extremely supportive, and I loved ever second I got to hangout with you all over the years and ready for many more memories with you all. I know dad is up in heaven building some new contraption to help entertain his extremely creative mind.
Love you dad, rest in piece.

We offer our sympathy to all of Park's family and friends. We were always amazed at the many interests and talents Park had- from building and flying kites to producing art works to operating remote controlled boats and drones. Park had a ready smile, a chuckle and enjoyed a good social gathering. We met Park through a Dinner Group and got to know him through our monthly gatherings. Park Fleming will be missed.

I worked with Park for 15 years and was proud to call him a friend. We had many shade tree discussions, during which Park would tell of his many different endeavors. You couldn't help being drawn into his jubilation at what he would be involved with. One of many highlights was his videos of para-sailing. We both enjoyed making each other laugh, trying to outdo the other. He will be missed.

Park played a huge roll in my life. We were married for 18 years but together for over 20. I saw this man through hard times and good times. He always could make me laugh. I remember a time when he had taken me to Eureka Springs for my 40th birthday, what a special time it was. The little things he did do that would surprise me.

So many great memories of our trips together. Europe, Hawaii, Mexico with friends, trip to the Grand Canyon with Devin, trips to the lake, family gatherings for holidays, quiet times at home with our morning coffee. The friends we would have to the house and dinner club parties. He loved when we hosted for Halloween every year. Our yard and inside would be decorated to the hilt. He loved entertaining and I know that Christmas for him was a very special time. He would always talk about how he and his mom, Mary, would be the ones decorating the tree at Christmas.

He especially enjoyed his hobbies. I always found it amusing that once he found a new hobby, he went in full force creating board games, spinning tops, RC sailboats, RC cars, miniature carnival creations, race car sets & his dear friend Bruce would come over most Sundays. When I met Park and starting to get to know him, he loved his kites. The festival's we would go to annually to Eureka Springs and the Saturday mornings I would go with him to any open field either in North Little Rock or West Little Rock, even the first time he flew a kite for me off the overlook near Mountain Home. Telling me that I had stolen his heart as he flew a heart kite. He had stolen my heart and will always have it.

So even though our marriage ended we stayed in touch making sure that we were both doing okay. I know now that this man cared for me and for so many of his friends and family. Park, you once said that when it was your time, you wanted your urn to state, "It's full of stars". Well, my love, it is full of stars and just for you.

I first met Park 40 years ago at a RC car racing event that was held at the time in a parking lot off Asher Av. After that, our paths continued to cross and we found we had a lot in common and shared similar interest, and soon became friends.

As others have said, Park was a true craftsman that took pride in every thing he worked on, no matter how small or large the project. His creativity and imagination only enhanced these quality's. Park had interest in many things, and was always ready to explore new interest. He loved feeding and watching the birds and deer. He enjoyed going to Lake Willastine to sail RC sail boats, as a small example. He was generous and always willing to help people. Park was forever the optimist. Spending time with Park on weekends was always a new adventure. That is what we enjoyed, and what I will miss the most.

My condolences goes out to Park's family and friends. His untimely departure was a shock to us all. For me, I will take some comfort in knowing, that I have some of the best memories of my life all because of getting to know and spend time with my closest and best friend, Park.

Park and I have been business associates for more years than I want to claim and GOOD friends for exactly the same time. Park was the most unassuming, generous and talented person you could ever hope to meet. We shared some wonderful life experiences in the hobbies he loved. We made exotic wood art pieces and sold them at War Eagle. We built and flew many different Radio Control planes and helicopters together and sailed RC boats. We raced RC cars doodled with drones and flew his wonderful kites. We even hunted Indian arrowheads and meteorites together. Yep, sounds just like kids at play, and yep, he was always a kid at heart. Park was a rare TRUE friend, and I will miss him forever with all my heart. Sorry I cannot be at your family gathering due to health concerns, but, be assured I will see you again at the sailplane field on a clear blue-sky day when the sun is shining bright and the ‘boomers’ are spinning through.
