Sara Ellen (Selvidge) Covington, 65, of Batesville passed away Monday, December 21, 2020.
She was born March 1, 1955 in Newport, Arkansas to Vernon Selvidge and Avinell (Holland) McDoniel.
Sara loved her family and her life was all about her grandbabies; she also enjoyed quilting.
Survivors include her son, John Jackson (Kelly) of Charlotte; brother, Jim West (Debbie) of Ward; sister, Carolyn Armstrong (Ronnie) of Thida; aunt, Shirley White of Harrison; three grandchildren, Natalie Jackson, Brody Jackson, and J.D. Rowan Jackson aka ''Booger''; as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Marion Travis Covington; two brothers, Don West and Glen Selvidge; step-father, Paul McDoniel; and infant son, Daniel Jackson.
Pallbearers are Josh Lawson, Justin Lawson, Scotty Armstrong, Skipper West, Brody Jackson, and Pat Hayes. Honorary pallbearer will be J.D. ''Booger'' Jackson.
Graveside services will begin at 10:00 am Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at Maple Springs Cemetery in Rosie.
Visitation will be held from 8:30 â€" 9:30 am Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at Roller-Crouch Funeral Home of Batesville.
We are complying with the Arkansas Department of Health guidelines. All attendees must provide and wear their own masks and social distancing will be observed.
