Marjorie ''Markey'' K. May, 79, of Parkin, Arkansas, passed away on Friday, December 18, 2020, in her home, surrounded by her family. She was born in Wynne, Arkansas, on September 4, 1941 to Hershel and Katherine Glenn.

Markey was preceded in death by her parents. Those left behind to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Robert ''Bob'' May; four sons, Scott May (Kelli), Bobby Joe May (Tonya), Brett McFadden (Ginger), and Scott McFadden; twelve grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; three sisters, Patsy Everett (Buck), Glynda Dobbins, and Peggy Stone; three brothers, Burt Glenn (Jackie), Jamey Glenn, and Danny Glenn; and her furry K-9 companion, Buddy May.

Markey earned her Master of Arts degree and taught many years in public education. She loved to travel when ever she could, and was a member of Parkin United Methodist Church. Markey deeply loved her family very much. She will be missed by all that knew her.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 22, 2020, 2:00 PM, at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home, 201 N Pine Street, West Memphis, Arkansas. Interment will be at Crittenden Memorial Park Pavilion, 2206 US-64, Marion, Arkansas.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests for memorial donations to be made to: Parkin United Methodist Church, 101 W Smithdale Avenue, Parkin, Arkansas 72373.

Roller-Citizens Funeral Home will be following guidelines issued by the local Department of Health and the CDC regarding COVID-19. Social distancing of at least six feet is recommended for services and all funeral attendees are requested to wear masks.
