We will miss Bill although we didn't see him often. We met him in 1989. He was recommended to us to do major renovations to our home. John and I immediately fell in love with Bill. It took five month to complete the project. He was always available when we needed him for other projects. We have since moved to Texas. We had breakfast with him in NLR about a week before we moved. He was already having major health problems. We will misshim. He was family to us.
Gonna miss you Bill especially your laugh and tough exterior yet tender heart. You are God’s child at home now.
Thank you for everything you taught me and putting up with me as a teenager...You were a good stepdad. I’ve always told you that you sang like Merle Haggard!! Mom and I had such fun watching you play the drums and sing...dancing too!! Thanks to you I was able to meet Earnest Tubb just before my 18th birthday.
You could build and fix anything...
You are always loved and missed.
As I’ve told you in the past...too bad biological father’s (including mine) couldn’t be half the Dad that you were to me, and didn’t have to be.
"Bookman" as Dad nicknamed him was a great guy. He was an excellent carpenter, painter and builder. I've known him since I was about 2 years old. He taught me alot over the years and we built and fixed alot of things. We became good friends in that time. He was a character. He was tough for a guy his size. He even wrestled a bear one time! Probably one of the best marksmen I ever saw too. He would try anything once. I will miss you friend, though you were always family in my book.
So sorry to here about your loss. Prayers for you and all family. Love you!
