Violet L. Morris, 95, a resident of Fort Smith, passed away Thursday, December 10, 2020, at her home.
She was born November 12, 1925, in Paris to the late Buren Mike and Helen Marie (Lovell) Houser. Violet spent her working years as a registered nurse for 18 years at Sparks Hospital in Fort Smith.
In addition to her parents Violet was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Albert J. Morris; a granddaughter, Reba Marie Wagner and a sister, JoAnn Houser.
Survivors include a son, Buel Dean Luker of Dallas, Texas; daughter and caregiver, Sherry King of Fort Smith; daughter, Carolyn Valentini of Van Buren; two grandchildren, Michael Schenk and Courtney Valentini and two great grandchildren Nevaeh Schenk and Niki Brown.
Burial will be private under the direction of Roller Funeral Home in Paris.
Pallbearers will be Richard Davis, Desarea Ellingburg, Michael Schenk and Eric Haynes.
