Donna Sharon Freeman, 72, of North Little Rock, Arkansas, passed away on Thursday, December 10, 2020. She was born on May 11, 1948, in Russellville, Arkansas to the late Wallace and Alamara Venable.
Donna led her life with a selfless and full heart for her family. Always going above and beyond, she played whatever role necessary for those she loved. A wife who devoted herself to the life Wallace and she made together. Donna took an active role with anything her children and grandchildren wanted to be a part of. A true elegant lady who was full of class and beauty. She was proud of her home and always kept it immaculate. She was known for her wonderful cooking skills as well. An amazing wife, mom, and Granin to the people who meant everything to her, her family. She will be truly missed by all who were blessed to know her.
She is survived by her husband of almost 47 years, Wallace Freeman; daughter, Darby McCormack; grandchildren, Alexa McCormack, Isabella McCormack, Sophia McCormack; son, Wallace Brock Freeman (Kelsey); grandchildren, Harper Freeman, and Hudson Freeman; sisters, Phyllis Wetsell and Marsha Robinson; step-son, James Christopher Freeman (Sara); step-grandchildren, Dominic Freeman, Logan Freeman, and Julia Freeman; and many special friends.
She is preceded in death by her granddaughter, Grace McCormack.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 14, at 11:00 A.M. at Roller-Owens Funeral Home in North Little Rock. A graveside service will follow at Rest Hills Memorial Park in North Little Rock.
Due to COVID restrictions, all attending are required to provide and wear masks.

Wally, I was so sad to hear of Donna’s passing, my thought and prayers are with you and your family.

I am very saddened to read of passing of Donna. She was a very dear friend growing up in North Little Rock. If not mistaken, we became friends while attending Park Hill elementary school and remained close friends through high school. She represented NLRHS as a cheerleader, as well as other support groups. My deepest sympathies to her family. I know she will be missed. My heart is aching because of her death.
