James Hobson, 92, of Marmaduke, Arkansas passed away Thursday, December 10, 2020. He was born April 7, 1928 in Tuckerman, Arkansas to the late Ruth Tims and Sherman Hobson.

He is an Army- Vietnam Veteran. He loved hunting, fishing and camping and attended Griffin Memorial United Methodist Church in Paragould, Arkansas.

He is survived by his wife, Doris Hope of 17 years; son, Tony Hobson of Cabot, Arkansas; two step sons, Mike Crutchfield of North Little Rock and Scott Crutchfield of Texas; three step daughters, Carol Keck of Shawnee Mission, Kansas, Hope Hooker of West Helena, Arkansas and Gail Brandley of Mountain Home, Arkansas; five grandchildren; five great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; two sisters, Ruby Condart of Woodlawn Oregon and Leigh Emory of Balles, Oregon.

He is preceded in death by his first wife, Lorene Hobson; parents; and three sisters, Virginia Dahl, Audrey Morril and Selena Page.

A funeral service for James Hobson will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, December 13, 2020 at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in West Helena, Arkansas. Burial will follow to Sunset Memorial Park in West Helena, Arkansas. Sister Mary Welch will officiate.
