Billy Lee Franks, 84, of Bethesda passed away Saturday, December 5, 2020.
He was born November 21, 1936 in Burdette, Arkansas to Lemuel Franks and Sue Margaret (Roark) Franks.
Billy was a veteran of the United States Army.
Survivors include his wife, Elda (Slisher) Franks of the home; one son, Kenneth Franks of Bono; one brother, Jesse Franks of Bethesda; two sisters, Sandra Lawrence of Bethesda and Mary Sue Enoch of Cushman; two grandchildren, Justin Sutton of Dallas, Texas and Sasha Davis of Batesville; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Hershel Franks, Bobby Franks, Charles Franks and Paul Franks; and daughter, Bonnie Sutton.
Pallbearers will be Shone Franks, Bradley Fulbright, Vernon Slisher, Jerry Todd Enoch, Aaron Slisher and Joey Slisher. Honorary pallbearers are Michael Paul Franks and Spencer Davis.
Graveside services will begin at 2:00 pm Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at Campground Cemetery in Bethesda under the direction of Roller-Crouch Funeral Home with Jonathan Baxter officiating.
We are complying with the Arkansas Department of Health guidelines. All attendees must provide and wear their own masks and social distancing will be observed.

I am so sorry to learn of the passing of Mr. Billy. He was always very polite & kind when he came to the office. One of my favorite patients for sure. My thoughts & prayers are with all of you during this sad time.
