Papa, it's been a little over a year and a half and I still miss you every single day. As a grandfather, friend, and person you were always such an amazing man, happy, smiling, and making new friends. Watching you as I grew up I learned so much about work ethic, successful relationships, and the value of family. If I can be half the man you were I'll count myself as successful. With love, always.

Dear Darla and family,
Pam and I are so saddened to hear about Layton and Dar. We have many fond memories of them from our travels together over the years. I especially cherish the time spent with your Dad on the State Board, some of the most enjoyable years of my life. We send our kindest personal regards.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. My prayers are with you. I was a classmate of Darla when she was an student in college.

I have know Layton and Boonie since I was 16 years old and I have met all of the Bowman children and they have all treated me like family. Layton has been a champion of mine since I started college and he always encouraged me to reach for the stars with his coffee gang at McDonalds. Layton and Boonie were always so kind with their time as was Darla. Layton would invite me to his office and give me good sound advice and was always so generous with his time and advice. He was one of the first to take interest in me as a young 16 year old with dreams and he always told me to reach for the stars and I will never forget our talks and the kindness the Bowman family showed me throughout the years. May God bless the Bowman family. Heaven just received a great man.

What a wonderful CPA Layton was! We enjoyed his amiable ways, goid sense or humor, and hearing about his horses, especially Dollar, named after John Wayne's favorite horse.
May the Lord bless your family as you grieve his loss and remember his wonderful ways. 🙏✝️ Pastor John and Nancy Easterling

I moved to Mountain Home over 20 years ago and Layton was one of the first people I met when I applied for the Sheriff's Reserve. He helped me obtain a full time Deputy's job and we became good friends. Layton gave me full access to his stable and we had many breakfasts together with a circle of his other close friends. I don't think I have ever met a more quick witted and funny man. Layton, you will truly be missed by many. May God bless you and condolences to the entire family.

Worked with Layton for several years on the Mountain Home Chamber Foundation, and always enjoyed his quick wit and exchanging barbs with him. His expertise was a great asset to our community. I will miss him.
