Buddy Wayne WheelerI am a Veteran.

of Heber Springs, AR

November 7, 1946 - November 28, 2020

On Saturday, November 28, 2020, Heaven received its most glorious angel, Buddy Wayne Wheeler. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle, brother and cousin. Buddy was born on November 7, 1946 in Helena, Arkansas. He shared 47 loving years with his wife, Margaret, his two sons and five children that he took in as his own.

Buddy had this amazing force within him to make whoever he was around to feel a sense of calm and happiness. You always knew when you saw him that you were going to hear a great story or a hilarious joke. His smile was infectious.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Gwendolyn Wheeler; His favorite aunt, Florence Wheeler; a stepson, James Landers; a nephew, James Cromeans and sadly, several others.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret Wheeler, two sons; Sean Wheeler and Dewayne Wheeler; two sisters, Mary Margaret Wheeler and Barbara Wheeler. His favorite nephew, Tim Ballard; His niece, of whom he was so proud, Laurie Mallory ''Lollie,'' His beloved cousin, ''Jimmy Joe,'' followed by his four stepchildren, nine grandchildren and several great grandchildren and many friends all over the world. Everywhere he went in this world, he made his family much larger simply because every friend or acquaintance became family.

Funeral services will be at 9:00AM on Thursday, December 3, 2020 in the chapel of Roller-Daniel Funeral Home, 411 E. Race Avenue, Searcy, Arkansas.

Burial will follow in the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in Birdeye, Arkansas

Barbara, Marge and family, I am so sorry for your loss. I worked with him when he was Service Manager at Ritchey Buick Pontiac GMC in Helena, and his obit is spot on. Talked to Buddy on the phone just last week & thought he was doing okay. My condolences to all of the family.
