Janet Hundley, 64, of Little Rock, went to be with the Lord November 29, 2020. She was born June 8, 1956 to Lloyd and Lou Satterfield in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Janet was a graduate of UALR and was an avid fan of Trojan Basketball. She enjoyed volunteering at Watershed, where she was named Volunteer of the Year and for the Democratic Party of Arkansas where she was named Pulaski County Volunteer of the Year and State Volunteer of the Year. She liked spending time at Turpentine Creek-Big Cat Reserve, where she and John adopted several tigers. For many years, Janet and John enjoyed spending six months each year in Marco Island, one of her favorite things to do was watch thunderstorms from their deck. Family trips to Destin and Navarre Beach were always special times.
Janet was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother, Ricky Satterfield. She is survived by her husband, John Hundley; her two children, Bruce Leland Hundley; Melissa Ann Hundley; her sister, Susan Satterfield; and her nephew, Joshua Taylor.
In lieu of flowers please send memorials in Janet's name to the Humane Society of Pulaski County, 14600 Colonel Glenn Road, Little Rock, Arkansas 72210.
A memorial service will be held 2 pm, Saturday, December 5, 2020 in the chapel of Roller Chenal Funeral Home, 13801 Chenal Parkway. We are complying with the Arkansas Department of Health guidelines and limiting indoor service attendance to 50 people. All attendees must provide and wear their own masks before entering.
