Ulus Oliver Jones, 97, of Clarksville, AR passed away November 27, 2020 at his home with his loved ones by his side. He was born February 11, 1923 in Hartman, AR to his parents, Johnnie, and Mandy (Clark) Jones. Ulus was a lifelong resident of Johnson County. A graduate of Eaton Barber College and a retired Barber in Clarksville. He was a former employee of Quality Cleaners, Model Cleaners and Quick Service Laundry. Ulus pastored many area Assembly of God Churches. He served in the Civilian Conservation Corp in his younger years. Ulus was known as the ''bicycle man'' to many area youth after his retirement. Ulus was a 32nd Degree Master Mason of the Franklin Lodge No. 9.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Johnnie and Mandy (Clark) Jones; his wife Sophia Jewell (Farris) Jones of 76 years during 70 of those years they resided at the same residence; two brothers Elmer Jones and James Jones; sister Hazel Highfill.
Ulus is survived by two daughters Anita Caldwell and husband Dale of Clarksville; Belinda Sanford of Ozark; two grandchildren Clayton Caldwell and wife Amy of Hunt; Jamey Knuckles of Ozark; four great grandchildren Adeline Caldwell, Anajewel Caldwell, Rhett Caldwell and Jacob Knuckles; sister Evleen Gipson of Wichita, KS; Sister in law Ella Mae Jones of Tahlequah, Ok; special niece, care giver Patsy Jones of Clarksville, AR.
Open visitation, 8:00 AM 4:00 PM Monday, November 30, 2020. Private Family service will be held at a later date at Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel with Doyle Caldwell officiating. Burial will follow at Oakland Cemetery.

We are complying with the Arkansas Department of Health guidelines and limiting indoor funeral and visitation attendance to 100 people at one time. All attendees must provide and wear their own masks before entering.
