Hilda Lee Sisk

of Jonesboro, AR

July 2, 1932 - November 25, 2020

Born 88 years ago in Black Oak, Hilda Lee Fletcher, was one of fourteen children born to the late Albert and Tillie Fletcher. In 1949 she married the late Clarence Sisk and they had six children. They lived most of their lives in Brookland.

In addition to her parents and her husband, Hilda was preceded in death by her daughter and son-in-law, Jane Sisk (Chris) Tharp; granddaughter, Nikki Tharp; grandson, Nickolaus Sisk; great-granddaughter, Sarah Wright; infant sister, Sarah Fletcher; sister, Juanita Loggins; brothers, Duel Fletcher, Calvin Fletcher, and James Fletcher.

Hilda is survived by many loving family members including her children; Caroline (John) Wilson, Judy (Larry) Cole, Mike (Donna) Sisk, Jo Hanke and Jean Sisk; grandchildren, Christy Wilson, Kenny (Ann) Wilson, Emile (Johnny) Moore, Benji Cole, Corey (Tiffany) Sisk, Kimberly Sisk, CeJae (Jessica) Hanke, Dylan Hanke, and Delaney Hagen-Sisk; great-grandchildren, Matthew (Ellie Fan) Wright, Perri Wright, Jacob (Samantha) Wilson, Josh (Lori) Wilson, Abby Wilson, Skyler (Heather) Hattenhauer, Maxwell Cole, Emma (Blake) Beasley, Brianna Cooper, Riley Sisk, Makenzie Sisk, and coming in March Claire-Marie Hanke; great-great grandchildren, Laken Hester, Madi Wilson, Avery Wilson, Harrison Hattenhauer and Kynlee Hattenhauer; brothers and sisters, Norma Henry Toddy, Quentin (Betty) Fletcher, Wendal (Frances) Fletcher, Janice (Gaylon) Brooks, Betty Lou (Clyde) Pittman, David (Diana) Fletcher, Linda (Bill) Reed, Brenda (Butch) Dobbs; as well as multi-generational nieces, nephews and cousins.

Hilda was a farmer's daughter, then a farmer's wife. Most of her life she was a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who was blessed in the last few years to be a great-great grandmother as well. She loved spending time with her family, completing word search puzzles, watching westerns and crocheting.

Wednesday afternoon, November 25, she went to her heavenly home. She spent her last few days at home surrounded by her family, who love her dearly, as she loved each of them.

Services will be graveside, Tuesday, December 1, at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery, at 12:30pm, with Jerry Thompson officiating. Pallbearers include grandsons and great-grandsons.

Visitation will be at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home, Tuesday, at 11:00am.

We are complying with the Arkansas Department of Health guidelines and limiting indoor funeral and visitation attendance while observing social distancing guidelines. All attendees must provide and wear their own masks before entering.
