Barbara L. Schluterman, 79, of Subiaco, Arkansas passed away on Thursday, November 26, 2020 in Paris. She was born on March 21, 1941 in Branch, Arkansas to her parents, John David and Pauline (Greb) Ruloph. She was a homemaker, a member of St. Benedict Catholic Church and Mother's Society in Subiaco and Catholic Financial Life.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert Schluterman; her parents, John David and Pauline (Greb) Ruloph; one sister, Geneva Ruloph and one brother, JD Ruloph.
She is survived by one daughter, Ann Taylor and husband Brent of Subiaco; five sons, Patrick Schluterman of Subiaco, Sam Schluterman and wife Ellen of Subiaco, Tim Schluterman and wife Lesa of Charleston, Junior Schluterman and wife Jennifer of Subiaco and Herman Schluterman of Subiaco; four sisters, Mary Friemel of Subiaco, Roberta Ruloph of Fort Smith, Delores Pickle and husband Ted of Hartford and Cecilia Savage and husband Richard of Missouri; one brother, Joe Ruloph and wife Rosemary of Ratcliff; 11 grandchildren, Jessica Philmon (Max), Brad Schluterman (Ashley), Jeff Schluterman (Sarah), Weston Schluterman, Rachael Schluterman, Heather Forst (Dakota), Steven Schluterman, Cory Schluterman, Jack Schluterman, Carly Taylor and Daxton Taylor and five great-grandchildren with one more on the way.
A rosary service will be held at 7:45, on Sunday, November 29, 2020 at St. Benedict Catholic Church in Subiaco.
A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Monday, November 30, 2020 at St. Benedict Catholic Church officiated by Fr. Mark Stengel O.S.B.. Burial will follow in St. Benedict Catholic Cemetery under the direction of Roller Funeral Home in Paris.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
Honorary pallbearers will be her granddaughters.
We are complying with the Arkansas Department of Health guidelines and limiting indoor funeral and visitation attendance. All attendees must provide and wear their own masks before entering.
I am sorry for your loss. Barbara always had a big smile on her face. And her smile were light up a room. I always enjoyed going to the nursing home and help her and Betty play bingo. She will be greatly missed. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
