James C. McCallum

James C. McCallum, 84, a resident of New Blaine, passed away Wednesday, November 25, 2020, at the Arkansas Hospice River Valley Home.

He was born July 26, 1936, in Paris, Texas to the late Ollie L. and Minnie Irene (Harris) Frady. James spent his working years as the owner of J.C. Painting. He was a member of the Delaware Assembly of God. In his spare time James loved music especially playing guitar and singing with his band, J.C. and the Rhythm Riders.

In addition to his parents James was preceded in death by a grandson; two brothers and a sister.

Survivors include his wife, Norma H. McCallum of New Blaine; two sons, Phillip Morrell and wife, Stacey of Waveland and Kelley McCallum of New Blaine; two daughters, Joyce Stokes and husband, Mike of Aily, Arkansas and Sharon Morrell of Brownwood, Texas; six grandchildren, seven great children and one great great grandchildren.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Roller Funeral Home in Paris.

Pops I love you even tho I haven’t know you but just a short time you are absolutely missed by so many and I can’t wait to see you again in heaven so we can talk about chickens and being on a chicken farm and also that pig I told you and Granny about I still have one saved!
