James Delano Mitchell, 74 of Roland, Arkansas was born on June 23, 1946 in Perryville, Arkansas. He was the son of late Edith and Harry Mitchell. He was an Army Veteran and was proud of it. He loved hunting and fishing. He passed away on November 19, 2020. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Linda Mae Mitchell Of Roland, sons; Michael Mitchell of Roland, Robert Mitchell (Stacey) of Donaldson, Arkansas, and Randy Mitchell of Roland; two grandkids, Brett and Bailey Mitchell of Roland; one sister, Jean Giezentanner of Cookeville, Tennessee, and 5 nieces and 2 nephews.
Visitation is at Roller Chenal funeral home on Monday, November 23, 2020, from 3 to 7 pm. Funeral service will be November 24, 2020, at 11am at Soul's Anchor Church with burial at Cherry Hill Cemetery.
We are complying with the Arkansas Department of Health guidelines and limiting indoor funeral and visitation attendance to 50 people at one time. All attendees must provide and wear their own masks before entering.

So sad to hear of James's passing. I had the pleasure of working with James at Maumelle Water Corp and he was a true gentleman in every sense. Bill and I send our sincere condolences and prayers to the family
