Darrell Gene Alexander, 70, of Bryant received his wings on Thursday, November 19, 2020. He was a painting contractor for many years in central Arkansas. He was a member of the Rock City Car Club. One of his prize possessions was a 1972 Challenger.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Deborah and his father, Jess Alexander; two sisters, Patricia Curtis and Alice Apple and one brother, Michael Alexander. Darrell is survived by his mother, Rose Guenther; two daughters, Jennifer Peacock (Jason) and Amanda Alexander; two brothers, Danny Alexander (Carol) and Don Alexander (Gin); and three sister, Carolyn Harrel (Bill), Shirley Alexander and Mary Alexander.
Funeral will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 21 at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow at Guenther-Presley Cemetery. We are complying with the Arkansas Department of Health guidelines and limiting indoor funeral and visitation attendance to 50 people at one time. All attendees must provide and wear their own masks before entering.
I was so saddened to hear of Daryl passing!! He was just a great guy and find memories and loved his smile and sense of humor!!! I knew I hadn’t seen him in awhile!!! Thoughts and prayers for the family. You never really get over losing someone you love! RIP my friend! You got your wings and in the arms of our Heavenly Father!! I’ll see you again someday in heaven my friend!!!
Carol and Danny, so sorry to hear about Darrell passing. He was a couple of grades ahead of us in school but I knew him. He always kept his car so clean as I remember. Prayers for y’all.

My memories of Darrell are from our childhood. He was a good friend as well as a cousin. He always had a smile. I enjoyed growing up across the garden from him.
