To the Holder brothers, Your mom was one of the first people we met when James and I moved to Marshall and her friendship was one we will always treasure. I admired her for raising three boys when I struggled raising my two! James and I are so very sorry for your loss, but we smile knowing she's back together with her beloved Spence! Our prayers continue to be with you during your time of loss. Grace and Peace, James and Diana Hendricks

With deepest sympathy to Delaine's children and family. She was a great class mate all the way from 1st grade to 12 th grade! She was so energetic and fun. I too have special memories, one was when we were about 7 yrs old and I spent the day playing at her house which was down the hill from me. we had the the most fun and visiting next door with her grandmother whom I called Aunt "Rhett" Sutterfield, sister to my step grandmother "Sell" ( Jackson) Allen. I really enjoyed meeting her family at the O'Neal Reunions at Canaan where cousin Spence and Delaine were there helping Ressie (O'Neal ) Holder run the raffel. Ressie always had something to donate that she had crocheted. One year I won the blue blanket she made which I cherish. May you all have peace and comfort during this time of the loss of your loved one. From one of the O'neal cousins. Marinda (Allen) and Rick Holliman

With love and sympathy to Dee's family! John and I were Spence and Dee's neighbors in Jacksonville. Dee was a loving neighbor who took care of all of us on Chaucer Ct!! Oh how she loved her family. You all meant so much to her!!! She was a proud mom and grandmother!! I have thought of her often since she left Jacksonville and was very saddened to hear this news. May God strengthen you and comfort you through happy memories. May He fill your hearts with peace, knowing she is in the arms of Jesus and sharing her days once again with Spence. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Dee was my neighbor in the Hamptons for several years...We became friends and enjoyed time just sitting and visiting... Also going to eat with Wanda and Billie....she was such a lovely person and my heart is saddened about her death...Dee was always smiling and laughing and was a joy to be around.....One thing i do know about her is that she definitely loved her family. THe grandchildren were her pride and joy (of course her sons were too). My deepest sympathies are with each of you family members.

Our deepest condolences, prayers, and love to Dee’s sons and families. Dee was a very special friend to us. We grieve your loss, as well as, our own. Dee and I have laughed and cried and mourned together over the years. We even solved many of the world’s problems while knitting and crocheting together! Since Ressie’s passing, we hadn’t had the chance for many visits, which is so regrettable to me. Dee will be missed by all who knew her.
