Jennifer Lee Hightower

of Greenbrier, AR

March 15, 1968 - November 18, 2020

Jennifer Lee (Cantrell) Hightower of Greenbrier was born on March 15, 1968 to Scott and Patsy Cantrell in Conway, Arkansas. She went to be with the Lord on November 18, 2020 at age 52.

Jennifer was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church (First Baptist) in Greenbrier. Jennifer loved life, laughter, music, family and friends, and absolutely adored her canine companions. She lived in Greenbrier all her life and knew just about everyone likely she never met a stranger. Her outgoing fun nature was as beautiful as she was, and she will certainly be missed She was preceded in death by her father, Scott Cantrell of Greenbrier, her grandparents, Marvin ''Mugg'' and Florine Cantrell of Greenbrier, and Ed, Jr. and Jessie Wilcox of Greenbrier.

She is survived by her husband Marc Hightower of Greenbrier, her mother Patsy Magers (Jim) of Sherwood, a sister, Cindy Simank (Bobby) of Atlanta, Texas, a brother Cole Cantrell (Lori) of Heber Springs, and by nieces and nephews, Jacob Cantrell, Vallie Cantrell, and Cooper Cantrell of Heber Springs, and Colt Glover of Longwood Florida.

Jennifer had a special place in her heart for her grandparents Mugg and Florine, and her father Scotty. We're sure they greeted her with open arms.

Services will be held at Life Song Baptist church, Greenbrier, Arkansas on Tuesday November 24, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. with Freddie-Mark Wilcox and Kirk Hardy officiating. A private grave side service for the family will follow.

Well, you’ve been gone from us for a short time, Jen, but it seems like forever since I talked to you! I miss you so very much and my heart aches knowing I will never hear your laugh again on this Earth. I wasn’t ready for you to go, my sweet friend, but I know your loved ones in Heaven were ready for you to arrive! I love you and your memory will always keep you alive in my heart!

I was so sad to hear about Jennifer’s passing. It seems like I have known her forever since we both grew up in Greenbrier. I got reacquainted with her just a few years ago. It seemed like we went to the Dollar General at the same time and she often shopped with my daughter at
Southern Savvy . We would talk and laugh and have the best conversations. One thing I will never forget is that she had a happy joyful heart. She loved her family and often would show me pictures of them. I will miss her.

Jennifer was one of my very first dance students when I opened my studio back in 1978. I’ll always remember her scratchy voice, sense of humor and infectious laugh. I’m so glad we reconnected through Facebook the last few years. She was one of a kind and will definitely be missed.

Dear Patsy, Cindy, Cole and family,
I was deeply sad to get the news of Jennifer's accident. From the moment I heard about it, lots of prayers were prayed. You all hold a very special place in our hearts. I often ran into Jennifer at Wal Mart. It was always so nice to see her and hear all her dog stories. I too am a animal lover. We always laughed and talked. What a bright light she was. Now her light is shining even brighter. I am at peace knowing that she is with her heavenly family. I know she is resting in peace. She will be missed but never forgotten. Her energy and that loving smile will live on in all of our hearts. She is with the angels now waiting to greet us all when we join her. You all are in Rosemary's and my prayers. Much love and light.

Oh Jennifer, you had a hug and a smile as large as Montana skies, & I'll never forget that about you. I've known you all your life - was friends with your Mom & Dad, and helped coached your softball team in your early years of life. I'm so sad your life was cut short & gonna miss you not being around here. You're pain free now - go rest high on that mountain that you've been seeking. Prayers & comfort for the family!!
