Gladys Faye Macumber of Flippin, Arkansas died Wednesday, November 18, 2020 in Flippin at the age of 93. She was born May 19, 1927 in Rogers, Arkansas, the daughter of William Lonzo ''Lon'' and Virgie Myrtle (Shearer) Still.
Gladys made her home in Yellville, Arkansas with her husband Charles Macumber. She was one of the finest cooks in the country, a meticulous housekeeper, and a loving friend. She will be missed by many.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son-in-law Keith M. Wade, and six of her eight siblings: Jeff Still, Arvil Lee Still, Roy Still, Ruby Still Turner, Bernice Still Holliman, and Telie Still Chesnut.
She is survived by her daughter Dianne Wade of Henderson, TN, and her son Glen Macumber of Flippin, AR. She is also survived by her brother Elward Still and her sister Barbara Jeanette Still Lawson. She was the proud grandma of four grandchildren: Kenny Wade, Heather Suzanne Brandon, Brett Macumber and Derek Macumber.
She was just as proud of her great grandchildren: Charlie Wade, Henry Wade, Alex Brandon, Drew Macumber, Brooklyn Macumber, and Zaylee Macumber. Numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and relation will mourn her passing.
All services will be private.
Gladys F. Macumber will be laid to rest in Georges Creek Cemetery next to her beloved husband;
