William Lee Dickeson was born on July 24, 1941 in England, Arkansas. He went to be with the Lord on November 13, 2020 at the age of 79.
William drove a truck for Falco Transport Co. He loved fishing and other sports. He served his country in the United States Army. William was easy going and never met a stranger. He was known for being a storyteller and rarely told the same story twice.
William was preceded in death by his parents Elic Ward Dickeson and Mary Hamous Dickeson, one brother, Elic Dickeson and one sister, Betty Lois Wilson.
Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Linda Mullins Dickeson, one son, Paul Bentley Dickeson and one daughter, Casey Pikey (Chris) all of Benton, five grandchildren, Ethan Dickeson, Seth Dickeson, Addison Pikey, Brad Pikey and Maddox Pikey, all of Conway, one sister, Shirley McCurry of Dallas Texas, and one brother Jimmy Ray Dickeson of Magnolia, Arkansas.
A visitation will take place at Roller Alcoa Funeral Home, 6700 Alcoa Rd, Benton, AR on Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. A graveside service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Cameron Cemetery on Samples Rd. in Benton with Bro. Terry Sayers officiating.
Serving as pallbearers are Ethan Dickeson, Seth Dickeson, Ashley Blake, Brad Pikey, Terry Wilson and Scott Allison.
We are complying with the Arkansas Department of Health guidelines and limiting indoor funeral and visitation attendance to 100 people at one time. All attendees must provide and wear their own masks before entering.
