Mary Dean Smith, 81, of Poplar Grove passed away Thursday, November 12, 2020. She was born November 29, 1938 to the late Leonard and Mary Margaret Smith.

Mary was a member of Trenton Baptist church including their WMA (Women's Missionary Association) and Marvell Book Club. She enjoyed gardening, watching the hummingbirds, bowling and spending time with her grandchildren. Prior to being an owner of B & M Medical supplies, she was a licensed respiratory therapist.

She is survived by her son, Jeff Livingston (Kathy) of West Helena, Arkansas; daughter, Donna Burt (Gary) of Batesville, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Krystal Warner (Jason), Jason Burt (Jennifer), Jeffrey Livingston and Josh Livingston (Heather); 11 great grandchildren, Hayden Webb (Tanner), Colton Burt, Talan Freeman, Gunner Livingston, Drake Livingston, Tagan Livingston, Nick Warner, Jacob Warner (Faith), Olivia Warner, Kaylee Jo Long and Garret Long; one great- great grandchild, Hadley Jo Warner; special nephew, Scott Henson; special niece, Debbie Self; and her Trenton Church family.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 31 years, Sanford 'Bud" Smith; her parents; one sister, Judy Henson; two brothers, Gene Smith and Buddy Smith.

A funeral service for Mary Dean Smith will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 16, 2020 at Trenton Baptist Church in Trenton, Arkansas. Visitation will be prior to the service starting at 1:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park in West Helena, Arkansas. Brother Mike Shelley will officiate.

Pallbearers are Jason Burt, Jeffrey Livingston, Josh Livingston, Jason Warner, Colton Burt, Talan Freeman, Gunner Livingston and Drake Livingston.
Honorary Pallbearers are Mike Shelley, Scott Henson, Reggie Smith, Vic Richmond, Hershal Schwantz, Chris Worstell, Justin Simpson and Gary Burt.

Services will be directed by Roller-Citizens Funeral Home, West Helena, (870) 572-2571.

Roller-Citizens Funeral Home is observing guidelines regarding COVID-19. We ask that all attendees please observe social distancing. When indoors or when social distancing cannot be observed, please wear a mask.

The loss of Mary is the gain of those that are in Heaven The good words that could be used to describe Mary are too numerus to list. I pray that she will be happy and her children and grand-Children will be comforted at this time of their life.
