Nemo Tilley, 90, of Flippin Arkansas passed away Sunday, November 8, 2020 in Flippin surrounded by his family. He was born October 10, 1930 in Rea Valley Arkansas to Jack and Mirla (Vickers) Tilley. He married Anna Sue Merchant, May 10, 1952.
Nemo loved teaching his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren the things he loved; hunting, fishing, carpentry, people watching, cooking, spending time with and taking care of family. You always knew if Nemo liked you when he gave you your nickname.
Nemo worked as a carpenter and in construction. Just look around the area and you will see his work as homes, restaurants, hotels, collages or a water treatment plant.
Nemo is survived by a son; Kenneth (Natalie) of Nixa Missouri; two daughters: Joann Perry of Flippin, Arkansas; and Glenda Huckabee of Gassville, Arkansas; seven grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Anna Sue Tilley, his son Robert Tilley, brothers Wilburn and Elmo Tilley, sisters Lorene Hall, Reola Arms and Joyce Ringwald.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 11, from 3:00 - 7:00 pm at Roller-Burns Funeral Home in Yellville, Arkansas.
Funeral service for Mr. Tilley will be Thursday, November 12 at 2:00 pm at the Hurst Cemetery in Flippin, Arkansas with Brother Gary Wise officiating.
