Donald Joe Farris, age 64, of Gassville, Arkansas passed away Saturday November 7, 2020 in Mountain Home, Arkansas.
Donald was born September 7, 1956 in Marshall, Arkansas to the late G.L. and Elaine (Burris) Farris. He had been employed as a carpenter. He enjoyed working with and riding horses.
Mr. Farris is survived by his son Jacky Farris of Harrison, Arkansas; his brother Steve Farris of Flippin, Arkansas; four grandchildren: Levi Farris, Elyssa Farris, Rebecca Farris, and Donnie Farris; one great-grandsons Jaxton Farris; and nieces and nephews Josh Farris, Jason Farris, Lesli Vargas, and Brandi Pinn.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Gary Farris, his daughter Shanna Rencher, and his half-brother Douglas Horton.
Graveside service will be 11:00 am Tuesday November 10, 2020 at Kirby-Tucker Cemetery near Gassville, Arkansas with Bro. Steve Martin officiating.
Honorary pallbearers will be Tom South and Norman Wallace.
Because of our concern for our community and the families we serve, we at Roller-Burns Funeral Home are encouraging families to practice social distancing at graveside services in accordance with Covid19 protocol and guidelines.
Arrangements are by Roller-Burns Funeral Home in Yellville, Arkansas.
I am so deeply saddened by this news. Prayers for the family and friends. I cared deeply for Don. RIP sweet friend, until we meet again.
You became a good friend in a short time. We will miss you, Don. God bless and rest in peace.
