Hazel Meritt Gibson died November 6, 2020, from Covid. She was born in Hickory Plains, AR., July 8, 1921, to the late J.F. and Millie Meritt. She was the widow of Fred Gibson. Hazel was retired from the Olin Corp. She was a lifelong Baptist, currently a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church.

Hazel is survived by one brother, Joe (Peggy) of Rancho Mirage, CA. Also, nieces Wanda Bishop, Rosemary Meritt, Vickie Garlington and Jeannie Bynum and nephews, Jim Meritt and Alan Meritt.

Graveside service will be 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, November 10, 2020, at Pine Grove Cemetery in Sweet Home, Arkansas. Memorials may be made to Pine Grove Baptist Church, 2504 E. Dixon Road, Little Rock, AR 72206. Online guestbook: www.rollerfuneralhomes.com/drummond.
